Op. Dr. Murat Karakuş was born in Çorum in 1967. After Bursa Erkek Lisesi he graduated from the English-language Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University and completed his compulsory service in Rize in 1993.
Between 1993 and 1999 he completed his residency in Brain, Spinal Cord and Nerve Surgery at Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon. There, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Süleyman Baykal and Prof. Dr. Kayhan Kuzeyli, he turned to neurosurgery and specialized in minimally invasive techniques and the non-surgical treatment of lumbar and cervical disc herniation.
With a special interest in minimally invasive treatment, Dr. Murat Karakuş closely follows current methods in nucleoplasty and offers his patients non-surgical, comfortable and personalized solutions. Combining modern medical technology with a holistic approach, he has helped thousands of patients return to a healthy, pain-free life in a shorter time.
